In 2008, local Law Enforcement personnel responded to over 1,000 alarms calls, most of which were false alarms.
These unnecessary responses resulted in an enormous burden in manpower and costs to the citizens. Every year thousands of dollars
are expended responding to false alarm calls; which in turn reduces the time available to respond to real emergencies.
Alarm permit fees are as follows:
Residential Alarm Permit - $25
Commercial Alarm Permit - $50
Financial Alarm Permit - $100
